Hey guys it's me (!!!!) here to tell you about the things I'm currently obsessed with.
From makeup to bathroom products and other cute little things that are on my radar, these are a few things I'll be keeping on hand all month.
I know that product roundups tend to get some negative attention, but I can assure you that nothing would be on here unless I absolutely loved it. I've found these products, tried them out and I'm here to tell you why they're so great (so you don't have to waste your money on stuff that doesn't rock!)
JORD Wood Watches, Cora series, sold online ($275)
I'm going to be putting up a post completely dedicated to these bad boys in the coming weeks, but I thought I needed to include it here as well! I've been thinking about getting one of these wooden watches for a while and my friend just let me try hers on -- I'm obsessed. They are a complete splurge but totally worth it. They are sturdy, chic and a piece you'll have for years to come.
Ban.dō, assorted paper products and gel pens, sold online
I've been a fan of Ban.do since they first released their iconic "I am very busy" design, which I had as my phone case for the better part of my sophomore year. I've since become a dedicated buyer of their paper products which have bold and sassy little designs. I just got their gel pens as a gift and they write much better than any other gel pens I've used (although I haven't used them since I was a kid.)
LOLA, sold online ($10 per box)
Girl power goes to a completely new level with these 100% organic cotton tampons by LOLA, a breakout brand that is backed by influencers like Karlie Kloss and has been featured in magazines like Vogue. LOLA allows you to select how many of what size tampon you want and set the frequency for the boxes to be shipped to your doorstep.
Osmosis, Quench Intense Moisturizer, sold by esthetician or facialist ($9 travel size)
This moisturizer is saving my skin right now -- the already dry weather has my skin freaking out! A little of this moisturizer goes a long way and it's one of the most deep moisturizers I've used (the other being a random tube of Ocean Moisturizing Gel which I happened to find in my bathroom closet in middle school.) Another great Osmosis product, if you can get it through your skincare provider, is the Polish Enzyme Mask.
Herb & Root, Bath & Body Oil in Fuji Musume, sold online ($20-30)
I first had the privilege of interviewing Julia Kahlig-Garuba, owner of Herb & Root, for Austin Woman last year. This oil was her first product I got to try and I am so in love with it that it's not even funny. I put it on my skin almost daily after I shower to lock in moisture, but you can also add some to a hot bath for in-the-tub moisturizer! The scent is made up of Wisteria, Yuzu and Green Tea and is girly and fruity without being overpowering.
And as for the makeup...
This fall I'm really feeling a soft cat eye, glowy cheeks (who says your skin can't glow a teeny tiny bit in the winter?) and a dark pink lip color.
Urban Decay, Naked 3, sold online ($54)
Urban Decay's Naked palettes are the only eyeshadows I will use EVER! This palette is especially nice with my skin tone, which is warmer and often washed out by the Naked 2 palette. I sweep 'Limit' on my eyelid and 'Nooner' in the crease of my eyelid for a daytime look, then layer on 'Burnout' and 'Liar' in the evening.
MAC, Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle, sold online ($33)
I am a girl who likes to have a sun-kissed glow year round... and what glow would be complete without some highlighter on your cheeks? I don't like it when my cheeks glisten too much, so I opt for just a bit of this sheer and neutral highlighter in the winter.
Maybelline, Master Precise Liquid Liner, sold online ($8)
I'm no pro when it comes to liquid liner but with this product I definitely feel in control when I'm getting ready in the morning. The tip is a little longer than other liquid liners, which I like -- I think it makes it easier to flare it out past the corner of your eye. I set my liner with some black eye shadow, since this liner has a little bit of shine to it.
Too Faced, La Crème in Sugar Daddy, sold online ($22)
This creamy lipstick is my go-to when it comes to lip color. It's a nude rose kind of color and it keeps your lips feeling soft all day without being too glossy like some other moisturizing lipsticks. The color compliments my skin pretty well, but if Sugar Daddy isn't right for your skin tone there are 19 other colors to pick from.
That's all for me, folks. Do you have a fall product you're obsessing over right now? Share it in the comments so I can check it out! :)
