Four Wintry Room Makeovers Using Only Items from Target

My relationship with Target is a complicated one. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I dread it. Before this past fall, I went for a year and a half without stepping foot in their store thanks to an Amazon obsession (that’s right, I only started using Amazon in 2018.)

Recently, however, I’ve fallen back in love with Target—Mainly for accessibility + affordability reasons. There is SO MUCH cute stuff, and I can always find a sale! Home goods, in particular, are a favorite of mine. You may remember my rose gold + sparkly Christmas decor from a few years back; I now live with a destructive puppy and manly-man, so I’ve had to adapt and re-imagine my Christmas aesthetic. One thing remains, though: I get all my winter textiles from Target.

Holiday Gift Guide: 30 Under $30

I don't know about you, but adulting has me balling on a budget this Christmas! I've put together a gift guide of the top 30 gift ideas under $30 perfect for everyone on your nice (or naughty—see kitchenware) list. I'm a firm believer that chic can still be cheap! Just because Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are over doesn't mean you can't snag some great products at great prices. 

When it comes to gifting, I'd rather give someone one thoughtful gift than a slew of presents they'll disregard and never use after Christmas. Below you'll find a few of my favorite things, broken down by category—Kitchenware, Home Goods, Beauty Buys, and Accessories! (Spoiler: I actually included 36 items. Merry Christmas!) 

KITCHENWARE

Getting a Starbucks gift card and cute mug from a friend never gets old, but did you know you could buy a grilled cheese griddle for under $30? Who doesn't love melted cheese? (In all honesty, I'm lactose intolerant... But would still LOVE to get that as a gift.) Everyone knows that the holidays mean lots of alcohol, so I picked the whiskey business flask (which comes in another saying as well!) for the pals on your naughty list. 

HOME GOODS

Another thing I LOVE getting for Christmas is home goods. I always felt like I was returning to a new apartment after Christmas break since my presents would always involve some cute home decor. My top pick from this list is the zodiac journal! In case you didn't know, I'm a VERY strong Aries personality (and feel the need to get every "Aries" thing I can get my hands on.) I was pretty surprised at the price on the letter board as well—It's from Target and SUCH a steal! These things can run pretty high in price.

BEAUTY BUYS

Bath, body, and beauty products are always a great choice for gift giving! I can't get enough of the multicolored soap rocks above. I mean seriously, who invented these? They're so weird. I must order. I also chose a great exfoliating scrub from Frank Body. I try to use only natural ingredients on my face and always exfoliate with coffee grounds! If you want to be more conservative in your gift giving this year, the Herbivore calm bath salts are a good choice. I received them as a stocking stuffer years ago and it was the perfect present. Everyone loves bath salts! 

ACCESSORIES

Yes, that is an LED fidget spinner iPhone case. And yes, yes, that little thing in the middle is a selfie glo lens for your phone or computer.. These fun accessories are perfect for those people who appreciate more "novel" prezzies and uncommon objects. I used to have the "I am busy" phone case in the top right, and got so many compliments I had to include it. I'm also loving the chic little keychain with the cheeky sayings. Must have!
